The 'SFORD
Movement' is an experiment to educate with a purpose, through a system
chalked-out keeping in view this fundamental i.e. to foster holistic
development with ration in an organised way; focusing locally yet consistent
globally.
The 'SFORD Academy' is one such step of the whole movement, which sets the
ball rolling. This would be an Academy with a difference so far as its
qualitative aspects are concerned. The dreamers are getting their
inspiration from the great educationist like Gijju Bhai, Madam Montessori
and Bharatiya Educational Thinkers and to attempt to create a new blend
covering the current needs, and changed social scenario. |

The
Academy's ultimate object is what Swami Vivekanand declared to be the real
meaning of education i.e. to unfold the divinity within every human being
(The core of our emblem). The same has been spelled out by Mahatma Gandhi,
"By education, I mean all rounded complete development of man's mind, body
and spirit."
The Symbol trio "OM"; "SHRI" and "SWASTIK" covers the whole spectrum of life;
and the duo colors - light and dark indicate the life phases. The stroke
indicating the path covering the theme sentence, sets the action in right
direction. |

Learning is
a natural instinct of human beings but the directed learning in an organized
way needs the help of some organizational structure. The organizational
structure, which has helped the human beings in learning, is called
'School'.
The history of school is not of recent origin, it is found even thousands of
years ago. Of course, it has traveled during these years and witnessed many
and varied changes in the form and functions. The word school, yet having
the same spelling may mean very differently for different people. But a
majority of the listeners will understand this word with reference to an
organization, which imparts structured instructions in a systematic way to
children's of various age groups.
The importance and acceptance of the Government and Private Schools have
seen favorable and unfavorable response from public, in turn one by one. The
acceptance of one was to cover-up the drawbacks of the other. But this
pendulum approach has hampered the most vital organ of the society i.e.
Education.
The education, though the most important aspect of human society has never
been cared the way it should have been. This has lead to a confused scenario
for all of us who are associated with education either as planners,
executers, students, parents, employers, etc. Our father of the Nation,
Mahatma Gandhi aptly remarked, "It is my conviction that all national
activities suffer materially owing to radical defects in our system of
education".
An analytical overview of the past and the present of the educational
scenario indicates that there is a serious demand to attempt an exceptional
experiment keeping in view the experience gained in the past and covering
the future expectation of the society so as to come out with a product
capable of contributing to the society positively.
The word 'School' or 'Academy' rings another word i.e. Child, but for us it
would remind the parents, the would be parents, not only this but also the
would be couples, because we would like to start education from the original
origin. And the same would be imparted by the SFORD Academy - a vital organ
of the SFORD Movement. This movement intends to serve the various needs and
elements of life and living. |

The 'SFORD
Academy' is a dream come true for those seeking education of standards for
their loving little stars. The SFORD Academy is a foundation providing
opportunities to the future of the nation - the Children, to reap the fruits
of international standards without uprooting them from their own roots.
It is, perhaps, for the first time that a School has dared to give meaning
to the school education. For, it has no commercial motive behind it. The
only motive that it has is to make available an Affordable Education for one
and all. There is a core team of dedicated professionals going with this
motive. A complete environment is being created at the SFORD Campus that
will groom the children into individuals with overall development and above
all, the better citizens of tomorrow. |
The Campus : |

The
SFORD Campus is coming up at Village Peshawas of Luni Tehsil on 136 Bighas
of a barren agricultural land donated by a family of philanthropists. The
construction of the school building needed, has been completed in all
respects.
The SFORD is not planning to create a structure, competing with a star
hotel but is committed to provide bare necessary facilities, without
compromising the quality of education at any cost.

The building is not a school, we believe. Therefore, the SFORD has
decided to offer quality teaching, well-equipped library facility,
well-equipped labs, including computer one, quality sports support and
various opportunities of learning. |
