SFORD Annapurna :

The Basis :

The ''Annapoorna'' will be one of the vital parts of this project. The dream will get its roots here. The well-being and the health of the SFORD tree will much depend on the sap supplied here. The dreamers of this project have unanimously resolved that the one and all available on/in the SFORD Campus will take ''Bhojan-Prasadi'' (the food) together; as it is believed to be an essential condition for an organisation based on the ''Family Concept''.

The Food :
You are, what you eat. It is really a truth. Therefore it has to be given utmost care. A healthy mind dwells in a healthy body. To keep body healthy the food must get meticulous care. The 'Annapoorna' management will have to make all necessary efforts to chart out menu for each specific day in advance after consulting experts of naturopathy. The advice of these experts will be taken care of seriously. It will be a vegetarian food service only.

The Process :
The animal instinct prompt one to jump upon the food as soon as it comes. This needs to be cultured by conscious effort. Better it is that one allows himself to keep away from food for sometime even the same is ready for eating and properly placed before. View it consciously, smell it consciously, appreciate it consciously, recall the process & efforts made in preparation, feel grateful to the person who prepared the food and then after thanking the Almighty God and considering the food as 'Prasadi' (the God's grace) one should accept it after reciting the following 'Bhojan-Mantra' with eyes closed and folded hands :

In 'SFORD Annapoorna' everybody will be expected to culture their animal instinct with help of process suggested. The food taking act then soon will be converted into 'Bhojan-Yoga'.
