SFORD Gau Seva Evam Shodh Sansthan :

The Prelude :

'Cow Care, Gives Rare' is not a slogan alone; but it is one of the proven scientific facts that the cow is a creature among the animal kingdom, which gives rare gifts to the human beings. The same fact has been underscored by the Master Minded Learneds of our country thousands of years ago and called the cow as 'Gau Mata' (Mother Cow), the highest status in the relations among humans in the society.

The Sanatan Dharma has made a bold statement when they said, "All the possible forms of Gods and Goddesses dwell in cow's body". This was possibly the way of communicating then.

This statement has spread the most important message that this creature be protected at any cost and whatever this creature produces is to be accepted religiously, in-turn it has guaranteed the sound health and simultaneously identified the remedy for various ailments humans possibly may suffer.

The 'Panch-Gavya' therapy was popular then and the same is now gaining momentum in the face of failing modern medicine system - the system which is not free from a malady as a gift along with remedy.

The Plan :

The SFORD is running a 'Gau-Shala' on a modest scale of 25 cows as per its resources - physical & financial both. There are number of 'Gau-Shalas' run already at present on various scales ranging from medium to mighty size and are serving various needs, but the purpose of running this 'Gau-Shala' is to introduce & instill the importance of this creature among the students and member of this project in a practical way so as to prepare clear headed supporters of this good concept.

This will be done by initiating research project related to 'Panch-Gavya' and practicing the application of researched facts - such as bio-gas, bio-fertilizer, 'Gau-Mutra' seed treatment, distillation of 'Gau-Mutra' to make the same available for treatment and further research.

An Appeal :
You are welcome to adopt one or more cows as per your wish by contributing Rs. 6,000 per cow per year. We are also ready to accept any amount towards 'Cow Care Fund'.
